Munich, 2003-08-20 Turbo/Borland Pascal 7.0x has a bug in the initialization of the delay routine in unit CRT. This leads to "Run Time Error 200" on fast PCs (Pentium II with approx. 233 MHz and above). There exist inofficial patch programs for the run time library files (TURBO.TPL and TPP.TPL) of Turbo Pascal and Borland Pascal versions 7.0 and 7.01, see T7tplfix.zip on http://www.brain.uni-freiburg.de/~klaus/pascal/runerr200/ The attached binaries have been compiled with a patched version of Borland Pascal 7.0. They have been tested on a Pentium III 800 MHz under Windows 2000. All computational routines and input/output work fine, but there is no guarantee that the measured timing values are correct. Please use these provided binaries if there is no Borland Pascal Compiler available. Torsten Schuetze
